Children, Youth and Family Master Plan -Overview

This community planning process began in July of 2007 and included over 112 youth and adult citizens who worked to develop recommendations and associated strategies related to the following areas: Early Childhood Development, Youth Development, Youth in Transition, Education and After School Services, Neighborhoods and Community, Health and Safety and Family Economics. In addition, a core team was developed to create infrastructure recommendations to support the plans recommendations and associated strategies.

Pathways is a resource guide created by the Manchester Coalition for Connecting Youth used to orient youth and young adults towards job placement. The guide provides information regarding local support organizations, programs and services that prepare users for job readiness, training and placement.
